How Muslims And Non Muslims See Each Other

A survey conducted by the Pew Research Ccentre concludes with interesting results

How do you see non-Muslims? Do you see them as selfish, violent or greedy? Apparently, we do see those three attributes as a good description for the Non-Muslim. A survey conducted by the Pew Research Centre concluded with results that you may or may not agree with. The results were gathered from six western nations, the USA, UK, Russia, France, Germany and Spain.

The research stated that 68% of Muslims saw non-Muslims as being selfish but only 35% of non-Muslim believed Muslim were selfish. 66% of Muslims believed the westerner to be violent, comparatively, 50% of westerners credited Muslims to have a violent nature.

The highest ranking characteristic for Muslims By non-Muslims was that of Fanaticism as 58% aligned Muslims very closely with the trait, in contrast, 53% of Muslims were convinced that the non-Muslim held an attribute of fanaticism.

The most polarising results were that of greed, as 64% of Muslims surveyed saw their non-Muslim counterpart as being greedy whilst on the other hand only 20% of the non-Muslims asked suspected Muslims of Greed.

The only questions left to answer are, how have these result affected my view of non-Muslims? I feel the results gave an insight into the thought process of the non-Muslims, such as how highly they thought of our generosity and not attributing us with greed.

Has it changed your view of them or have the results of the poll aligned with your previous ideas? My views were never maligned towards the Non-Muslim but I do believe the Muslims, from the result I have seen are very critical of their Non-Muslims counterparts.
