As the parked at the supermarket, Amber flew into a fit of rage after she claimed the trio parked their car too close to hers.
Amber can be heard threatening the lives of the three American Somali women, stating 'We're gonna kill all of ya', followed by the remark, “We’re going to kill all of you, we’re going to kill every one of you f***ing Muslims,". At the end of the video, Amber can be heard provocatively repeating, "Why are you in our country anyway?"
Amber works as a certified public accountant at accounting firm Horab and Wentz, her employers did not share the same feelings towards Muslims as Amber did. After the video went viral, one of the partners of the firm confirmed her dismissal, “Whenever she gets here, she will be let go.”
Amber has since apologized for the incident and gave her side of the story, she makes the claim, that she was insulted before her tirade of islamophobic death threats.
“It was not a Christian like thing to do AT ALL and wish I could take it back, but I lost my cool and I can't. I am terribly sorry. I just wish that the whole video could be shown. And the things that were stated before she starts taping. She had parked way too close to my car and I couldn't get in, when I asked her to move she refused, I asked her again and she swore at me calling me a fat b*tch.
But there are absolutely no excuses. I am in tears with regret and will take any form of punishment deemed fit.”
Civil Rights Director Amir Malik of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) invited Amber to educate herself about Islam, “We would be pleased to arrange a meeting with wonderful members of the North Dakota Muslim community to help educate this individual about Islam and about the American values of religious tolerance and inclusion,”.
