First Major Department Store To Sell Hijab And Abayas In The Uk

UK Department store Debenhams has signed a deal with Aab Collection to sell a range of modest clothing for Muslim women

Debenhams has signed a deal with the modest clothing company, Aab Collection, to start selling clothing traditionally worn by Muslim women in selected department stores around the United Kingdom. 

Abb Collection, established in 2007,  is known to sell a variety of outfits catering for Muslim Women, items which will be for sale in the department store will be, hijabs, tops, dresses, jumpsuits, kimono wraps, hijab pins and caps.

The modest wear will be introduced to numerous outlets throughout the country from  May 2017 including, the  Oxford Street branch in London, the Bullring centre in Birmingham, Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush, Trafford Centre in Manchester and Highcross Shopping Centre in Leicester.

The creative director went on to state, “Debenhams is a quintessentially British department store and among the few department store brands with a truly global reach.”

The Abb collection products will also be sold in Debenhams other countries including  Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, Indonesia and Malaysia.
